Dumpster Rental in Menlo Park: What the Work Looks Like
Menlo Park's signature job is the tear-down. With around 30 spec builders active in the city and 1950s ranches in West Menlo, Allied Arts and Linfield Oaks being rebuilt into much larger homes, the typical project is two to three 40-yard loads for the house, inert bins for the foundation and a swap day set in advance. Behind that come the whole-house remodels and additions in the Willows and Felton Gables, ADUs on the deep lots, and smaller remodels in Belle Haven.
The commercial side is concentrated: Middle Plaza at 500 El Camino is under construction, the Downtown Specific Plan keeps adding projects, Parkline on the former SRI campus is in review, and Meta's Willow Village has been paused since May 2026. We dispatch Menlo Park from our Burlingame yard, a straight run down US-101, about 20 minutes. One thing the City makes clear on its own site: construction, demolition and remodel debris is not part of its garbage franchise, so you can hire any company for a roll-off.
