A 5 yard inert dumpster is $585 in San Jose with no weight limit, covering delivery, pickup and 7 days on site. Prices vary by city, from $585 up to $775. Designed for concrete, dirt, brick, and asphalt, these low-profile dumpsters are perfect for hardscape and excavation projects that generate heavy materials.
$585 covers clean concrete or asphalt. Clean dirt is +$90, and brick or mixed inert loads are +$270. Exact pricing for your material and city is always shown at checkout.
A full 5-yard load of broken concrete or dirt weighs roughly 5–7 tons.
That's why concrete, dirt, brick, and asphalt belong in a dedicated inert dumpster. Not sure which size, or what counts as clean? See our concrete & dirt dumpster rental guide for prices by city, the allowed-materials list and a driveway worked example.
Dimensions:15' long × 5'7" wide × 2'7" high (dimensions may vary slightly)
Capacity:Holds 5 cubic yards of inert materials
Footprint:About the size of a one-car parking space. Fits most driveways comfortably.
This is our lowest-profile dumpster, specially designed so heavy inert materials stay easy to load and legal to haul.
Inert Materials (Concrete, Dirt, Brick, Asphalt):No Weight Limit!
Why This Matters:Save money by using our inert material dumpster with no weight limits - put as much concrete, dirt, brick, and asphalt as you need without extra fees!
Have general debris? You'll need a separate dumpster.
Equivalent Capacity: 5 cubic yards of inert materials with NO weight restrictions.
Concrete Removal: Handles up to about 400 sq. ft. of driveway, patio, or sidewalk removal.
Dirt & Excavation: 5-7 tons of dirt (typical small landscaping project), garden bed removal, or minor grading work.
Brick Demolition: Small retaining wall, outdoor fireplace, or brick patio removal.
Asphalt Removal: Handles up to about 400 sq. ft. of driveway repairs, small parking areas, or pathway removal.
Once you've ordered your 5 yard dumpster, follow these four simple steps for a seamless delivery:
Clear 60 feet of space in your driveway or street. Move cars, equipment, and any obstacles. Don't forget: Unlock gates for our driver!
We need 23-25 feet of vertical clearance. Trim low branches or choose a different spot.
We deliver all day. You don't need to be present though being there would help greatly for some job sites.
Load through the door or toss over the sides. Keep prohibited items out to avoid fees.
Important: Only concrete, dirt, brick, and asphalt are allowed in inert material dumpsters. No other materials are permitted.
Use a separate dumpster for concrete, brick, dirt, and asphalt. Mixing inert materials with regular debris reclassifies the load as general debris, which is subject to strict weight limits (e.g., 0.5 ton for a 5-yard dumpster). Overweight charges will apply if the load exceeds the general debris weight limit. Our inert-material dumpsters have no weight limits, but mixing materials will cause extra charges.
Most customers never pay these, but here's what to avoid:
No hidden fees. No surprises. Just simple, transparent pricing for every dumpster rental.
Every rental includes complimentary delivery and pickup, with no extra charges.
Each rental includes a full 7-day period so you can take your time.
What you see is what you pay. 100% transparent, always online.
No weight cap for concrete, dirt, brick, or/and asphalt. Weight limits apply to mixed construction debris.

Best option: Order two separate dumpsters to keep your no-weight-limit benefit for inert materials.
5% Rule: If general debris exceeds 5% of the load, you lose the no-weight-limit advantage and pay general debris rates ($150/ton after 1 ton). Keep materials separate for best value!
Standard rental is 7 days (included in base price). Extensions available with daily fees. Most customers find 7 days sufficient for small projects. Flexible rental periods accommodate various project timelines.
Dimensions: 15' long × 5'7" wide × 2'7" high. Holds 5 cubic yards. Compact size fits most driveways and tight spaces.
