Dumpster Rental in Berkeley: What the Work Looks Like
Berkeley is a pre-war city on small lots: Craftsman and brown-shingle homes in Elmwood, Claremont and North Berkeley, Victorians in South and West Berkeley, post-war infill in Westbrae, and a dense student-housing belt around campus. The remodel work follows the housing (kitchens, foundations, seismic retrofits, ADUs), and every one of those jobs produces lath-and-plaster, old framing and concrete that has to leave through a short driveway on a busy street.
We run Berkeley daily from our Hayward yard, straight up I-880 through Oakland, on the same route as Albany and El Cerrito. Through 2028 the Southside and Downtown blocks around Bancroft and Shattuck carry construction traffic from the new 23-story residence hall, so a morning delivery window is the easy way to keep a bin drop on schedule there.
